In Ohio we have Black Squirrels!
Some crazy guy brought them from another country and let them lose and they beat out most of the gray squirrels.
They are cool.
Mostly.
It is said that when a gray squirrel and a black squirrel mate they create a brown squirrel.
Why does that make sense?

The mixing of the two colors, but I don't think it'd work. Unless one of the squirrels had some brown squirrel genes. But if neither had brown squirrel genes the offspring would be either black or brown.
